Catching up!!

I am about to rapid fire out these blogs.  We have cute stuffing happening all the time up in here and I am just letting it pile up because I think I want to make each blog unique and cute and think of all these fun little sayings.  Let's face it.... I don't. I keep putting it off. I dont want Tesi to be graduating from high school and I have not posted in this blog. We're going to party like its my Birthday

Who does not love their birthday.  I dont care how old I get. I will always love my birthday!  This year I turned the dirty thirty. I never thought that was old. Just another number. Age is what you make it.  Holy cow! I freaked out about a week before my birthday when it hit me that I would no longer be in my 20's with my siblings.  However 30 is starting to feel good on me.  It was a great year! I received so many blessings! I am blessed to see 30 years of my life.  My sister was moving but took me out to Simply Fondue with a friend of mine.  It was so fun to have a girls night to let my hair down (literally) and laugh. 

More Randoms of the Summer

One day my brother and I decided to head to New Orleans for the day. It was wonderful.  You can say what you want about that city but I love it!  I get so much energy when I am there. We went to a thrift store where if you are a curvy girl you could try on 5 things and if you are a GQ model like chad you could try on 500 things.  Still fun.  Then we walked around the french quarter looking for this one restaurant until we were so hungry I was contemplating eating my own arm only to find out it was closed.  So we walked into this restaurant next door that had phenomenal food. The best was their homemade chips and queso and pineapple juice.  All the while, the hostess was falling in love with my brother as she mentioned to him at least ten times that she was getting off at 10.  Take the hint Chad! But she was too normal for him. I thought she was cute but whatever and then finished the night at Cafe Du monde

I missed Milton so much that I took it upon myself to buy him 

a air plane ticket down to me and then call him and tell him..."Oh by the way you are flying to Louisiana tomorrow." He packed a bag and headed on down  We were going to stay the night in New orleans but my brother Ross wound up in the hospital. We still had a great time! I just think he is so handsome

We took the Zoo to the Zoo

This summer we went to my mom's for a little bit.  I was so excited all year to go but when I got there it just seemed the time flew by.  While we were there we made a list of what the kids wanted to do.  Tesi said she had never been to the zoo, so we packed up and headed to New Orleans Zoo for some fun in the hot hot hot sun.  Did I mention it was hot? Yeah well just think Louisiana....mid July....stinky animals....no relief...Yay that hot!  However that is what you do when your girl wants to see the Zoo. You put your big girl panties on and go melt in the sun to see some stinky animals.  It was not so bad since I had 3 on 3. Normally it is 1(me) on 3 (kids).  Plus when you have grandma and grandpa that do not have the word no in their vocabulary you stay pretty refreshed with all the icy drinks they buy.    In all seriousness it was a good time and I love seeing the world through my children's eyes. Okay and now it is time for the overload of pictures!

A little bit of Summer

Here is a little bit of summer to warm your soul and brighten your day.  Just a few pictures I took of the kids that really dont belong in a specific post but are too cute not to share.

own DVD player for road trips.  He couldnt see his sisters in the back seat so he got his own.
